Many governments have started working on a national design systems. How cool would it be to share knowledge, experience and discuss shared problems and possible solutions. Because let’s face it, we are all:
- aiming at a more consistent and predictable user experience,
- focussing on accessibility,
- working on similar problems,
- figuring out how we can drive adoption,
- set on stimulating collaboration,
- sharing and re-using each other’s components and code
Truth being… it would save us all a lot of effort if we would collaborate more!
So why not profit from our presence in Rotterdam and get together with an international group of people who are working on government design systems? Let’s meet up!
We are reserving a space for around 30 people to co-work and share insights on design systems. We can share tips, tools & code and also visit other workshops now and then during the conference. Also getting to know each other personally makes it easier to stay in touch and keep collaboration going after returning home.
We invite participants to exchange their knowledge as proactively as possible, via short presentations, pair programming / designing and on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a meetup where ideally some of the more experienced participants share their knowledge or dilemma’s during a small BarCamp session. Nothing fancy, just a few short 10 to 15 minute presentation bursts with plenty of time to discuss and share ideas.
The Design System Hack Space will take place in Zaal 11 on the 2nd floor. E-mail NLDesignSystem@gebruikercentraal.nl if you want to join the Design System Hack Space, so we can reserve you a seat. If there is something you would like to address, share or ask, please let us know.
Looking forward to meeting you at the conference!
