Rotterdam walking tour from an academic and design perspective

As design educators, researchers (PhD), and practitioners we will combine our knowledge and skills with yours to let you experience what it’s like to engage citizens in a human-centered design process. The excursion starts with a design research method to explore Rotterdam and one of its neighbourhoods, looking at it from a citizen’s perspective.

Once you have reached our design studio, we will use your experiences and “data” to gain meaningful insights about the neighbourhood and discuss the value of local labs to engage with citizens form both an academic and practitioners perspective.

Altogether our excursion will give you the opportunity to get a hands-on, fun and challenging experience of collecting and translating human-centered design insights with the knowledge of design and research professionals.
