Excursion to innovation district Reijeroord, Rotterdam

Physical challenges are the starting point for large transitions. Renewing the sewer system is the base for energy transition, climate adaptation and circulair economy. We combine those physical challenges with social ambitions. We asked every person in Reyeroord about their dreams. We work with Stad-ups: visible start-ups in the district to test innovations and work on the dreams. A Stad-up can be temporialy and is allowed to fail. Act fast, fail fast and learn fast. Step by step we find our way in the unknow world of new transitions. The goal? A futureproof district: tomorrows district starts now.

During the excursions we show some of the realized Stad-ups. We’ll have a conversation about a new way of working which is needed to deal with transitions.
