The opening and keynotes will be held in the Willem Burger Zaal (third floor).
After a short wrap-up by conference host Willem Pieterson, we offer a complementary vegetarian lunch to all participants.
After the lunch you have the choice between:
Option A: Staying at the venue to attend a keynote by Esther Huyer, followed by meeting and collaborating with your fellow participants at an open space session,
Option B: Going on one of the guided excursions to a government organisation in Rotterdam or other cities nearby (travel time less than 1 hour).
After Esther’s keynote we offer an interactive open space session, where you can meet and collaborate with your peers. There is plenty of space for this option, so you do not need to sign up ahead of time.
Often, government services aren’t meeting user needs. While many people and organisations around the world are working towards creating joined-up, trusted government services, they face a range of internal and external barriers. In this extended hands-on session, we will explore what good government services look like, what barriers we are facing in creating them, and how to overcome those impediments.
Alternatively, you may choose to make a guided excursion to one of these places in the Dutch government. You will be guided by one or more representatives from the host organization. We will arrange public transport tickets for you to get to the locations.
