Christian Bason

Christian Bason is the CEO of the Danish Design Centre, a public institution which works to advance the value of design for business and society. Before joing the Design Centre he was Director of Danish Government MindLab innovation team, one of the pioneers of applying design approaches to public service and policy development. Previous to this he was a Business Manager with the Ramboll international advisory group.

Christian is the author of several books on innovation, design and leadership, including Design for Policy (2014), Leading Public Design (2017) and Leading Public Sector Innovation (2018), and his articles have been published widely, including in Harvard Business Review and Stanford Social Innovation Review.

Currently he is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Agile Governance, and a teacher of executive programs at several institutions, including Oxford Saïd Business School and the European School of Administration. Christian holds an M.Sc. (Political Science) from Aarhus University and a Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School.
