Mithula Naik is an innovation strategist, researcher and designer. Her career spans India and Canada, guiding teams in evidence-based research and human-centred design strategy from the public and private sectors. Mithula currently is a Lead Design Researcher and founding member of the Canadian Digital Service (CDS), the central digital services team in the Government of Canada.
Christian Bason is the CEO of the Danish Design Centre, a public institution which works to advance the value of design for business and society. Before joing the Design Centre he was Director of Danish Government MindLab innovation team, one of the pioneers of applying design approaches to public service and policy development. Previous to this he was a Business Manager with the Ramboll international advisory group.
I want to support governments to improve the effectiveness of their (digital) services. By translating knowledge from research to practical use. As a member of the Gebruiker Centraal (User First) community I took part in the creation of the website and the game Optimal Digital. Now we are creating a fast growing community of users and trainers around the game Optimal Digital. In this way knowledge and experience is transferred in a fast and practical way.
