• 2017: policy officer at the ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK)
• 2011: product manager for open standards at Logius
• In 2004, led the development of:
– a metadata specification based on Dublin Core, and
– a web interface quality model for the Netherlands’ government: the Web Guidelines.
• 2001: e-government specialist at ICTU
• 1996: as website co-ordinator of the Ministry of Agriculture

Recent involvements:
• digital inclusion; especially web accessibility and user-centricity
• the expert and comitology groups on the web accessibility directive of the European Commission
• development of a model for ensuring web accessibility (ref: http://30x.eu/ewa)
• development of a model for (semi-)automated control monitoring
• governance of open ICT standards that are used by government in the Netherlands (BOMOS2i)
